This is a subject that’s close to my heart, You should always appreciate your family. By that I mean absolutely everything they do, What they do for you and how they make you feel.
I know sometimes family members really piss you off and get under your skin but family is family and you only get one.
The reason I am writing this article is because of all the things my wife and I are seeing on social media and the news. It’s things like the Grenfell Tower fire, The Ariana Grande bombing in Manchester along with all the other terror attacks recently and at the opposite end of the scale you get things like the Charlie Gard story.
No matter where you are or what you’re doing right now tell your children, parents, brothers and sisters that you love them and make sure they know it. Life is short enough as it is without having freak accidents and terrorists shortening it even further. You never know what is round the corner so make sure you cherish every moment with your friends and family. know how much they mean to you and how much you mean to them.
Make sure you make time in your day to spend an hour or two just interacting with your family face to face if possible, get rid of the phone or tablet that your face is buried in and have some human contact. Nothing is better than holding your child or partner while feeling the love between yourselves. You might just thank me for it in the future.
Finally the Charlie Gard story. I won’t go into detail as it’s not my place to but have a read of their story.
My heart goes out to all the people effected in the recent terror attacks and remember appreciate what you have!
